Misty Love

A veil of darkness covers the sky, hiding the crescent moon
A tired lighthouse on the cliff, shining out to the vast sea
A lone North Star on the starless sky, illuminating hope for the lost ships abound
A veil of heavy fog settles, devouring the ships’ only hope

Snow falling, painting the sky white
A willow by the lake, weeping silent tears
A wolf in the white hills, howling out to his lost mates
A lone lovesick soul, strolling down the empty banks

Fast changing temperament, creating a heavy fog around this lone soul
Deafening silence emanating from the surrounding, amplifying my solitude
A stone thrown into the lake, destroying the moon’s only company

Groping into this fog, searching for that Love
But the misty outline is forever deluding my reach…
